In the absence of underlying medical problems, muscles are the root cause of the majority of our aches and pains everyday. Muscles get tight and weak, they pull on joints, press on a nerve and bam...you feel a shooting pain somewhere.


Getting rid of the pain is as easy as strengthening the muscles that have weakened and stretching the muscles that are shortened to their normal lengths. Once the body is back in balance, you will have no more aches and pains! Simple!

Meet Your Master Trainer, Ali

Ali Nematollahi, an avid Kayak Sprint racer, turned to personal training in 2009 to complement his passion for fitness and physical activity. Ali has competed in numerous sprint racing competitions locally, nationally and cross-border and has won over a dozen medals.
He has won races in major races such as Seattle's Ted Houk sprint regatta, Canadian Masters Championship, BC Masters Championships, and BC Championships. In 2010, Ali raced in his first Masters National in Regina and won the K1 500m nationals and won a silver medal in K4 500m.
With a competing background, Ali knows how to optimize training to avoid injuries, and to maximize gains without hitting plateaus.
Ali is a nationally registered personal trainer. He pushed to get his national registration status by passing many practical and theoretical exams, so that his clients would be confident in his abilities as a personal trainer. With a vast number of successfully trained clients, Ali has had the opportunity to work with broad range of clientele with broad range of goals, from fat loss, inch loss, general fitness, muscle gain, strength training and athletic performance training.
Ali has a bachelor of applied sciences from Simon Fraser University and has received his Personal training certifications from Health and Fitness Alliance under the supervision of Dr. Bill Luke. He has also received certifications in coaching, nutrition, and specialized sports training from Human Kinetics publishers inc.
Ali believes in the value of hard work to achieve ones goals in life. He expects his clients to put 100% of their efforts into training. Ali believes health and human body are gifts from the creator and it is necessary to treat them as such. Ali sees and trains his clients as individuals unlike many other trainers who train their clients as body parts.
Ali's goal is to help clients learn how to live healthy and get the best out of their training session and life. He attempts to help his clients move toward physiques that fit into their lifestyles. His skills and techniques are derived from years of experimentation, study and practice. He continues to educate himself and learn new things by working with world class athletes, scientists and other trainers.

Meet Your Expert Trainer, Hank

Hank Wang, a competitive sprint canoe athlete whose passion for sport, fitness and physical activity guided him down the route to personal training. Hank competes locally, provincially, and nationally. He is currently working towards competing for Canada internationally. Hank’s knowledge ranges from all different types of sports, whether it is competitive or recreationally. His passion for sport and fitness will insure satisfaction from his clients. Hank is currently registered with ACSM as a certified personal trainer. He is also a certified coach. He is currently working towards a Human Kinetics Diploma from Capilano University. Hank believes that nothing is impossible if you are willing to put in the hard work. He believes that limitations are made to be broken and will do whatever he can do to ensure his client’s goal are achieved. Hank’s goal is to help his clients learn how to live healthy and get the best out of their training session and life. He wants to establish a positive hard working environment where his clients can feel safe but still work to their full potential. Hank continues to educate himself through school, training and working with fitness professionals and world-class athletes.
